This position is for an Extended School Year (ESY) program and is considered a BOCES ESY position. Applicants are encouraged to also apply for other qualified positions listed on the Summer Work posting, which are not BOCES ESY positions.

Monroe One BOCES - 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450; Various Locations

Term of Employment

July 10, 2025 - August 20, 2025; Hours TBD by location. A mandatory planning meeting may be scheduled for each program. Pre and post summer trainings and setup are also required.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings

• June 4th: O’Connor Academy, eStart, Transition/Employment
• June 5th: Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)
• June 11th: Creekside (BUP Unit)
• June 12th: Bird/Morgan

Salary Range

$32.33 - $52.43 per hour or your 2025-26 rate for current Monroe One BOCES staff. Actual salary depends on education, experience, and contract.

Duties

1. Implement services to meet goals/objectives of student IEP.
2. Assess communication skills as needed for student participation.
3. Participate in staffing conferences and classroom activities.
4. Generate reports and paperwork as required.
5. Collaborate with teachers, classroom teams, and administrators.
6. Plan and support school-wide activities around themes.
7. Travel between program locations may be required.

Qualifications

1. NYS Certification and/or License for school practice preferred.
2. ASHA Certification preferred.
3. Availability for all 30 days of the summer program.
4. Medicaid relevant training and NPI number required.
5. Physically able to perform essential functions (with or without accommodation).
