Job summary

Riverside Health and Rehab is seeking a Speech Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with applicable standards and regulations, under direction of the Administrator to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role involves providing quality speech therapy, evaluating data for plans, developing goals, instructing patients and staff, and ensuring CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• Must have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
• Evaluate and collect data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target lists and short/long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover.
• Complete CMS-mandated documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to identify resident needs.
