Job summary

Achieve Beyond is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator to serve Suffolk, NY, with flexible scheduling across homes, clinics, and community settings. The role focuses on evaluating children birth to 21 and delivering family education to support home carry-over of strategies.

Applicants must hold a NYS License as a Speech Language Pathologist and be self-motivated, team-oriented, and professional. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to support carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings: homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
• Follow the established therapy plan, plan ongoing treatment, and document progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated and maintain records.
• Maintain confidentiality of information in compliance with HIPAA and laws.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator to join our team! This job is located in Suffolk, NY. As a Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator you can work a flexible schedule that meets your needs and make a difference in the lives of our children and families.

Wage

Evaluations $130-250/hourly $60-70

Job Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth 21 years in a natural setting.
• Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
• Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports as indicated.
• Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.

Requirements

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• NYS Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
• Must be self‑motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate

Per evaluation $130- $250/hourly $60- $70. Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during the Speech Language Pathologist Evaluator Job interview process.
