The Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit seeks 7 full-time itinerant Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver Early Intervention services in Erie. This role aims to support students with communication disorders and requires strong educational qualifications and a valid driver's license. Candidates will work in various settings including preschools and daycares.
I. Position Details:
Location: This is a Tri-County Itinerant position with the majority of services in the Erie City area. Anticipated services include Early Intervention in Erie County and Special Education School Aged as assigned. (Full-Time)
Department: Early Intervention and Special Education
Start Date: 2025-2026 school year, starting July 1st, with limited days in the Summer until August In-Service
Salary (2025-2026 school year): Bachelor's: $63,830, Master's: $65,971+ (based on post-graduation credits)
Work Days: 187 days per school year, 37.5 hours/week
PTO: 10 paid sick days, 3 Personal Days, 2 Emergency Days per school year (based on start date)

III. Position Overview:
Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) seeks 7 full-time, itinerant Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide primarily Early Intervention services in Erie City and Erie County, with additional services for Special Education School Aged as assigned. The goal of an SLP is to provide remedial services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, or hearing disorders, aiming to improve communication skills.
IV. Required Qualifications:
Candidates may be in their Clinical Fellowship year but must have or be in the process of obtaining the PA Educational Specialist Certificate School Speech and Language Pathologist PK-12.
