Job summary

Twin Oaks Health & Rehab in Lansing, KS is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech, language, and cognitive therapy to residents in a senior living community.

You will evaluate, develop individualized treatment plans, lead group and one-on-one sessions, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, assess swallowing disorders, and maintain detailed records while staying current with best practices.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess residents' speech, language, and cognitive function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to residents
• Work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Conduct swallowing evaluations and provide recommendations for dysphagia management
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment plans and progress
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
