Responsibilities

• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication strategies and devices.
• Participate in discharge planning and community/home programming as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatment, progress, and termination of services.
• Supervise students and volunteers as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain infection control and department productivity standards.
