Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) PRN for Portneuf Medical Center. The role is full-time schedule at a facility-wide level, focusing on delivering therapy to improve speech, language, cognition and swallowing.

A meaningful role within a broad healthcare network supporting community well-being. The ideal candidate holds a master’s in SLP, ASHA eligibility or certification, and a valid state license with CPR.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of service
• ASHA certification requirements/met or eligible

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities
• Document patient care per regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Communicate patient progress to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and documentation
• Instruct patient families or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition
• Adhere to company code of conduct and applicable laws
• Perform other duties as assigned
