Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for an Early Intervention Program in and around Delaware County, PA. Travel between daycares and preschools is required, and compensation includes time for travel.

This is a 1099 independent contracting position with on-site and off-site mentorship from Clinical Directors and Team Leaders. The role supports therapy services for preschool-aged children and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• PDE Teacher Certification.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with IEPs for students.
• Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate needs and progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan classroom-based activities and instructional techniques.
• Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.
• Maintain and file all required student documentation and reports on schedule and in compliance with laws.

Job description

KELLY PEDIATRIC THERAPY is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for a local Early Intervention Program (Preschool age 3-5 years old) in and around Deleward County, PA (Springfield and surround areas).
*This position will start with a significant caseload.
*Travel is required between clients to various daycares and preschools in the area.
You are compensated for indirect and travel time.

Responsibilities

• Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served.
  
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.
  
• Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.
  
• Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports incompliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, federal and state laws, State Board of Education regulations, and school administrative policies and procedures.
