Job summary

Center for Disability Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for the Albany Clover Patch Preschool in Albany, NY. You will provide therapy services, assess students, and develop treatment plans within a collaborative school setting.

You will supervise Clinical Fellows or students while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. A NY SLP license and related teaching certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• NY Teaching Certification (TSHH or TSSLD) is required or eligible.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence is required for supervision.

Many of the innovative programs and vital services that we offer are not available elsewhere.**Full-time Speech Language Pathologist hires at our Glenville & Albany Clover Patch Preschool are eligible for up to $6,000.**Payments are subject to the terms of the incentive program, including continued active employment and good standing.We are searching for a full-time **Speech Language Pathologist** to join our Albany Clover Patch School program in Albany, NY.The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the mission of the Center for Disability Services and Education department by working collaboratively with program management and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality services to all students.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** Provides quality speech-language pathology therapy services* Assesses current level of function* Develops and implement an appropriate treatment plan* Maintains complete and accurate clinical documentation* Reviews and cosigns documentation completed by Clinical Fellows and students as assigned* Communicates with physicians, IDT members, caregivers, and vendors, and specific to Education Speech-Language Pathologists with school districts, and county service providers* Evaluates treatment outcomes and modifies treatment plans as needed* Maintains clinical and professional knowledge base* Writes necessary scripts and communicates diagnoses with physicians/medical professionals* Complies with Federal, State, and local legal and professional requirements* Supervises assigned Clinical Fellow candidates and/or student interns* Maintains all continuing education requirements for licensure**Requirements**:* Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology* New York State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist* NYS Teaching Certification as a TSHH (Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped) or TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)* American Speech-Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence is required for all who supervise student interns and Clinical Fellowship candidatesMust be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
