Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology; ASHA CCC-SLP eligibility or certification.
• Valid driver's license if in Home Care department is required.
• Experience in cognition, aphasia, dysphagia, and swallowing evaluation/interventions.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care 90-100%: evaluate and treat patients after referrals, develop and implement plan of care.
• Perform and interpret instrumental exams and hearing screens as needed; ensure progress and reassessment.
• Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary team and educate patient/family; document progress and outcomes.
• Supervise rehab techs when applicable and participate in department quality improvement.
