Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for the WellStar WEST Float Team. You will collaborate with physicians to assess and evolve care plans across speech, language, cognition, and swallowing, and develop customized goals to achieve measurable progress.

You will design engaging treatment plans, revisit goals, and ensure patient education and empowerment. Documentation must be clear, organized, and compliant with department guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program) required.
• Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 2+ years as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in a hospital setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and collaborate with physicians to evolve speech, language, cognition, and swallowing care plans.
• Create and implement meaningful, interactive treatment plans; refine goals to ensure progress.
• Maintain clear, organized documentation and ensure compliance with departmental guidelines.
