Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, day-shift position (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) to evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognition, swallowing disorders, under physician prescriptions.

Requires master's in SLP, state license, ASHA CCC-SLP or SLP-CF, at least one year hospital experience, and current BLS. Eligible for $10,000 sign-on bonus; benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Active license to practice SLP in the state of employment.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or SLP-CFs considered with supervision.
• At least one year of hospital experience.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, plan and implement therapy for patients with speech, language, cognition, swallowing disorders as prescribed by a physician.
• Assist in developing and implementing new programs for department enhancement.
