Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients, educate families, and coordinate discharge from speech therapy services.

The role requires ASHA certification, BLS within 30 days of hire, and licensure within 12 months. Schedule is Day Shift with PRN, and Ascension offers a 403(b) plan, EAP, counseling and spiritual care resources to support your growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based clinical techniques.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on personalized treatment plans.
• Document clinical progress and uphold quality improvement standards.
• Facilitate seamless discharge from speech therapy services and coordinate community support.
