Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the patient’s speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and communication goals.
  • Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, speech exercises, and techniques for safe swallowing.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
