Beacon Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for adults and children with neurogenic communication disorders. The role includes developing treatment plans, supervising assistants, and collaborating with physicians, with discharge planning starting at evaluation.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Indiana license, plus BLS certification; acute care experience is a plus.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous acute care experience is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic services for adults and/or pediatrics with speech, language, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with time-based functional goals.
• Oversees and supervises therapy assistants and documents care.
• Communicates with physicians regarding therapy changes and ensures current prescriptions.
• Plans discharge (D/C) at evaluation and documents outcomes in medical records.
