Job summary

Porter County Education Services School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to support students with communication disorders that impact learning and participation in school.

The role collaborates with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to align interventions with IEPs for students from preschool through high school.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Must be licensed in Indiana.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication evaluations.
  • Administer and interpret standardized and non-standardized assessments.
  • Prepare clear, timely evaluation reports that follow district and state guidelines.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect services in classroom push-in, pull-out, small group, or one-on-one settings.
  • Write and develop IEPs, including present levels, goals, accommodations, and service recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements.
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Complete Medicaid documentation, including service logs and session notes, in accordance with regulations.
