Speech/Language Pathologist ‐ Clinical Fellowship School ‐ (SLP ‐ Clinical Fellowship School)

Start Date: 8/25/2025 | Available Shifts: 7.5 D | Pay Rate: $1656.04 ‐ $1814.59

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a well‐respected school district in Philadelphia, PA, to hire a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position. The SLP will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services supporting students' academic and social development.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  2. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  3. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings throughout the school year.
  4. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  5. Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to incorporate speech therapy goals into the classroom.

Required Qualifications
  • Speech/Language Pathologist, School Experience: CF SLP ‐ Clinical Fellowship Accepted
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
  • State License is required to start the assignment

Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Previous experience in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations
