Job summary

Liberty POST is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF) to provide direct services to children aged 2–10 in mostly Hauppauge, NY. The position offers immediate fee-for-service work with an ensuing full-time opportunity starting in September, with some home-based or school-based services alongside office hours.

The CF will be mentored, work with a professional team, and receive biweekly pay with direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services to children aged 2–10.
• Conduct evaluations and deliver direct therapy.

We are currently seekingaClinical Fellow to provide direct services through a variety of programs to children ages 2 through 10. An immediate fee for service position is available immediately with a full-time opportunity beginning in September. Some of the services may be provided in home-based or school-based settings with the majority of the hours in our Hauppauge office.

Liberty POST has offered its clients a range of high-quality and individualized services since 1994. Backed by Liberty Resources Inc. and part of a large social services circle, originally POST was a speech-language practice in Syracuse NY and has grown to provide a range of services throughout New York State and Indiana. We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. We are focused on the importance of a child’s natural learning environment, a family’s unique strengths and needs and the diverse population we serve.

Position Summary

The speech-language pathology clinical fellowship (CF) is the transition period between being a student enrolled in a communication sciences and disorders (CSD) program and being an independent provider of speech-language pathology clinical services. The Clinical Fellow involves a mentored professional experience after the completion of academic course work and clinical practicum.

Requirements

Actively pursuing NYS Licensure in clinical discipline and master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Pay Rate
