The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for in-person Clinical Fellow mentorship and supervision in Clayton County School District, Jonesboro, GA.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
• Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience
• Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP (SSG can provide if needed)

Duties/Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide CF Supervision for CF-SLPs per ASHA guidelines
  • Minimum 6 hours of on-site and in-person direct supervision and 6 hours of indirect supervision activities will occur during each third of the CF experience
• Provide CF with the mentorship needed to become an independent practitioner of SLP services.
• Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback and assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills.
• Complete all records and feedback/ratings within a timely manner. See 2020 Standard VII.
• Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the 2020 CFSI [PDF].
• Provide the minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment to ensure hours and weeks earned during that segment are valid.
• Adhere to professional & ethical best practices.

Compensation:

The CF Mentor will receive a monthly stipend for each CF SLP being supervised.
