Job summary

Summit Therapy (Texas) seeks a CCC-SLP to join a supportive, dynamic clinic founded by a speech pathologist. You will evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders and provide regular therapy to clients in a collaborative environment.

You will train families, supervise CF SLPs, work with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to ongoing research to refine assessment and treatment methods for better outcomes.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification or credentialing as required for the role.
• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Provide therapy and treatment for speech and language disorders on a regular schedule.
• Train and educate families/caregivers and other professionals.

The Ideal SLP Will

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication disorders.
• Treat speech, language, communication disorders on a regular schedule
• Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals.

• Supervise clinical fellows (CF SLPs)
• Engage in research to enhance knowledge about human communication processes and develop new assessment and treatment methods that may lead to more effective outcomes.
• Provide counseling and consultative services.
• Train and supervise support personnel.

Must Be Able To

• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Read, write, type using a computer
• Attend trainings and meetings as required
