Job summary

Bloom and Thrive ABA in Virginia seeks a Founding Speech Language Pathologist to launch the speech department and lead clinical care for children with autism. You will work with BCBAs to create interdisciplinary plans, prioritizing quality and family involvement.

As Clinical Leader for Speech Pathology, you will design assessments, select materials, and shape therapy approaches, in a clinician-owned, mission-driven practice serving communities with limited access to care.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification and ability to practice independently.
• Virginia licensure eligibility.
• Pediatric ASD experience preferred.
• AAC knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide speech-language therapy to children with autism and developmental delays
• Collaborate with ABA therapists, BCBAs, and families to support communication goals
• Track progress and adjust interventions; educate parents and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication.

We are a clinician-owned, mission-driven clinic in the Northern Neck serving a community with almost no access to care.

The Opportunity: You won't just be "staff"; you will be the Clinical Leader for Speech Pathology. You will work side-by-side with our BCBAs to create true interdisciplinary care plans for children with autism.

Requirements:

CCC-SLP Required: Must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. (As our lead SLP, you must be able to practice independently).

VA License: Eligible for licensure by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

Experience: Preference for candidates with pediatric ASD experience and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) knowledge.
