Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Katy, TX. This school-based role can be full-time or part-time. You will assess students, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to support communication and access to education for K-12 learners.

You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams, maintain IEP documentation, and supervise SLPAs when applicable. Texas licensure and DOJ/FBI background check are required.

Formación

• Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background check required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsabilidades

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

About the Role

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• Current Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management
