An established industry player is seeking an on-call speech language pathologist to join their dedicated rehab team. Gillette Children's is seeking an on-call speech language pathologist to work on inpatient rehab, ortho, and neuro units at Gillette Children's. The successful speech language pathologist candidate would be required to provide intermittent weekend coverage on the inpatient units (a combination of 12 Saturdays and business closure days per calendar year). Purpose of Position:
Provides direct and indirect family centered therapy services for patients to increase functional abilities, independence and community integration. Contributes to department, program and service teams to assure achievement of desired outcomes.
It is anticipated that therapists will spend the majority of their work day in direct patient care. Therapists must have the ability to complete these activities and the related indirect patient care including same day documentation while providing safe patient care.
