Your Role:

As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

• Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech‑language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence‑based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
