Job summary

New Hanover County Schools in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, 12-month contract effective the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates are required to hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.

This position requires the candidate to stay at the assigned school for a minimum of three years. The role provides an opportunity for enriching service delivery and participation in instructional teams.

Salary: NC Psychologist Salary Scale plus local Board approved supplement (Yes speech is paid on Psychologist scale).

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), a valid NC driver’s license, and be eligible for a NC SLP teaching license.
