KIPP Bay Area Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students in Northern California. The role involves providing speech and language services, collaborating with teachers, and participating in IEP processes. Ideal candidates will have a degree in communication sciences and disorders, strong organizational skills, and preferably be bilingual. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.
In cooperation with other service providers and clinical supervisors, the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) will provide recommendations, and organize and implement services for the students of KIPP Public Schools Northern California. The SLPA will support our schools in Northern California. This role reports to the Lead Speech Language Pathologist.

Under the direct supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, the Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) will be responsible for the following job duties

Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands
Physical : Ability to navigate office and school campuses, and hold meetings in different spaces. Traditionally, much of the day involves sitting. Ability to access and utilize technology. Occasional lifting / carrying of equipment 1-20 lbs. Driving to different locations throughout the Bay Area.
Mental : Stress of deadlines and normal work standards, ability to analyze problems and general alternatives, work with interruptions, concentrate for long periods of time, read, calculate, perform routine math problems, memorize and recall objects and people.
Environmental : School environment subject to constant interruptions and distractions. Regular travel between campuses.
Classification and Calendar
This role is full-time, non-exempt, and based on a school-based calendar.

Compensation
We are dedicated to you and your family's well-being! KIPP offers a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and transportation benefits. The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $83,138 based on years of experience.
