Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to provide school-based services in Norristown, PA. This role is 3 to 4 days a week, with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration with Clinical Directors and School staff.

As part of a nationwide pediatric therapy provider, you will implement targeted therapy under IEPs, participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary meetings, and help plan classroom-based activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Federal, Child Abuse and State Clearances are required.
• CF’s are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction per students’ IEPs.
• Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to evaluate needs and adjust interventions.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan classroom-based activities and ensure carry-over of learning.
• Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.
• Compile, maintain, and file required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines and regulations.

KELLY PEDIATRIC THERAPY is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP-A) to provide school-based services for a local school district in Norristown, PA.

This role is 3 to 4 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served.
  
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.
  
• Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.
  
• Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports incompliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, federal and state laws, State Board of Education regulations, and school administrative policies and procedures.
