Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to deliver school-based services in Norristown, PA, under a 1099 independent contracting arrangement. The role involves collaborating with a supervising SLP, supporting IEP goals, and participating in MDT meetings to assess student progress.

The position offers on-site mentorship from Clinical Directors, access to a Lending Library of testing tools, and a School-Based Academy for new therapists.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in an SLPA program or 30 semester hours in speech-language pathology from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Speech Language Pathologist to implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with IEPs of students being served.
  • Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs, progress, and to develop or revise therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.
  • Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.
  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports in compliance with deadlines and regulations.

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based services for a local school district in Norristown, PA.

Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with Speech Language Pathologist to implement specialized therapy treatment, techniques, and instruction in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) of students being served.

  • Working with Speech Language Pathologist to participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multi-disciplinary team meetings to assist in evaluating student needs/progress and to develop and/or revise individualized therapy interventions, objectives, and goals.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and implement classroom-based activities and instructional techniques to ensure carry-over of learning.

  • Provide consultative services to parents in the therapy program of their child.

  • Compile, maintain, and file all required student documentation and reports incompliance with deadlines, confidentiality laws, federal and state laws, State Board of Education regulations, and school administrative policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Complete an associate's degree in an SLPA program or earn at least 30 semester hours (or equivalent coursework) in speech-language and hearing from an accredited college.

  • Fieldwork: Finish required supervised field work or practical training hours under a licensed speech-language pathologist
