Job summary

Metrocare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide therapy and education to ECI children under the supervision of an SLP‑CCC. You will develop and deliver services in homes, clinics, and community settings, using assistive technology to promote communication skills and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Therapy or related field is required.
• Two (2) or more years experience working with individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities.
• Licensed Speech Language Therapist Assistant license or eligibility in Texas as noted.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and provides individual speech language therapy with infants and toddlers in various settings.
• Provides families with consultation and therapy services in home, clinic, or community settings.
• Uses assistive technology/adaptive equipment to promote daily living skills and independence.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary services for families and documents progress notes.
