Job summary

Proficio Therapy Services in Livermore, CA is hiring a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support evaluation, treatment, and clinical activities under the supervision of a licensed SLP. You will assist with treatment plans, document progress, and provide direct services to pediatric clients.

The role requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in SLPA/Communicative Disorders and at least 1 year of SLPA experience, plus a California license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in SLPA/Communicative Disorders or related field.
• 1 year of verifiable SLPA experience within the last 3 years (may include residency or practicum).
• Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant per the California SLP-Board.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy interventions.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans for clients with speech and language disorders.
• Document client progress toward treatment goals and report to the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct therapy services and prepare therapy materials/equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
