Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders. The role includes documenting outcomes and guiding patients and caregivers while collaborating with the broader care team.

The candidate will support program development, mentor students and interns, and ensure safe, effective care aligned with Memorial Hermann standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Texas license to practice Speech/Language Pathology; ASHA certification; BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience; ability to lift up to 30 pounds; standing and walking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluation of patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Document findings, progress and instruction to patients and caregivers.
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and instructor to staff, students and interns.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; reassess and adjust goals as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, insurance companies, and multidisciplinary teams.
