Ability KC seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for its Adult Med Rehab team. You will assess, diagnose and treat speech, language and communication disorders, collaborating with families and other health professionals to craft individualized treatment plans.

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required; Missouri license and CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship preferred. Monday–Friday schedule with comprehensive benefits offered.

Under general direction of the Supervisor, performs patient care related tasks and functional supervision of support staff. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our Adult Med Rehab team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients. You will work closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills.

Education

• Master’s degree Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited school required.

Experience

• No experience required. Prior hospital or neuro-rehab experience preferred.

License/Certification

• Missouri State license and possess CCC or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship.

Knowledge/Skills

• Must possess knowledge of the principles, practice of Speech-Language Pathology and the ability to apply them in therapeutic treatment programs.
• Ability to create clear and concise written and oral reports.
• Understand and abide by the established code of ethics for the practice of Speech-Language Pathology.
