Job summary

PT Solutions in Kokomo, IN is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient rehabilitation and acute care. You will provide evidence-based therapy to diverse patients and collaborate with hospital teams to plan care and facilitate discharge.

Qualified candidates hold an ASHA CCC, state licensure, and a CAA-approved SLP degree; CLIN Fellows welcome. Competitive pay, sign-on, and comprehensive mentoring are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
• CCC from ASHA.
• State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care.
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, families, fellow clinicians, and hospital staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, case management, nurses, and other hospital teams.

Your Responsibilities as an Inpatient Rehabilitation/Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Qualifications

• Graduate ofaCAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
• Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support certification

Compensation

Pay Range: $75,000-85,000/year as a starting range; more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply as well! (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
