Job summary

Wyoming Life Resource Center (WLRC) in Lander, WY seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat residents with complex communication and swallowing needs. You will develop AAC systems, lead staff training, and coordinate mealtime therapy within an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State of Wyoming licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive communication, mealtime, oral motor, and hearing components of functional assessments for residents.
• Develop and coordinate therapeutic programming with staff training and in-service.
• Monitor therapy interventions monthly and document progress notes.
• Lead mealtime challenges class and train staff in communication, mealtime therapy, and oral motor skills.
• Develop and maintain AAC systems for non-verbal residents and gather equipment.
• Collaborate as a team on committees and assist with community consultations.
