Job details

Location: Cook County, IL
Dates: January 5, 2026 - April 27, 2026 (may start sooner)
Hours: 7:20 a.m. - 2:35 p.m., Monday-Friday
Grade Level: Elementary
Caseload: 42-50 students

Responsibilities

Provide therapy services to school-aged students of all grade levels to support their speech, language, and communication needs in a developmentally appropriate manner.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and track progress.
Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Speech Language Pathology License in the state of Illinois.
Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Pathology endorsement in the state of Illinois.
