Our therapists experience a close connection with their patients and families as well as collaborative interactions with each patient's physicians, nurses, and other medical team professionals.

Role Purpose
The Registered Speech Pathologist or Speech Therapist provides skilled speech and swallow therapy services to patients including all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities

  1. Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs and expected discharge functional status.
  2. Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers.
  3. Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication.
  4. Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
  5. Provides assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Speech Services.

  1. Education: Master's Degree - Speech Pathology
  2. Experience: No Experience
  3. Supervisor Experience: No Experience
  4. Licenses & Certifications: Speech-Language Pathologist
