Job summary

Good Samaritan in West Union, IA is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join the therapy team. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with split duties between West Union and Waukon, no weekends.

The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating clients with speech and swallowing disorders, and may include supervising assistants. Qualifications include state licensure as an SLP and, if possible, ASHA CCC or CFY.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC or CFY preferred for Sanford Health facilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and monitor progress while maintaining compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and supervise assistants when needed.
• Support post-acute, long-term care, and home health patients as assigned.
