Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Union, Maine, for the 2026–2027 school year in a full-time, school-based role (5 days per week).

Compensation features a $50–$60 hourly rate with guaranteed pay and eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, depending on assignment and experience. CCC-SLPs and CFs welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility for CF-SLP/CFY.
• Active Maine SLP License or eligibility.
• School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students across preschool to high school levels.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success.

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities Vary By Placement But May Include

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
• Support students with:
• Articulation and phonological disorders
• Receptive and expressive language disorders
• Social/pragmatic communication
• Fluency disorders
• Voice disorders
• AAC and assistive communication needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
