Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Maine for the 2026–2027 school year. We offer preschool through high school caseloads, personalized placement options, strong support, and competitive compensation with a sign-on bonus.

This position welcomes Clinical Fellows and CCC-SLPs, with guaranteed pay when sessions are canceled and a sign-on bonus eligibility up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification or CF-SLP/CFY eligibility preferred.
• Active Maine SLP license or eligibility required.
• School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students across PK–12.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services in individual and small-group sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities Vary By Placement But May Include

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
• Support students with:
  • Articulation and phonological disorders
  • Receptive and expressive language disorders
  • Social/pragmatic communication
  • Fluency disorders
  • Voice disorders
  • AAC and assistive communication needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
