Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, IN. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered as part of a full-time role with in-house therapy teams dedicated to resident-centered care.

The position requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a state license (valid or pending). Benefits include competitive wages, PTO, flexible scheduling, and ongoing CEU opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelors and/or a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an Accredited Program.
• Hold a valid or pending State Speech Language Pathology License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, review, and screen patient’s medical charts and develop a treatment plan.
• Plan and conduct rehabilitative programs to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive issues.
• Instruct residents and caregivers to monitor speech and practice skills for safe swallowing.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings to relay findings and support team decisions.
