Boothby Therapy Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based role in Rumford, ME. You’ll be paid $50–$60 per hour with guaranteed pay and may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus, depending on assignment and experience.

We support Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP/CFY) and provide mentorship, collaboration with other specialists, and ongoing resources to help you grow your career in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP or eligibility as CF-SLP/CFY.
• Active Maine SLP License or eligibility.
• School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions.
• Support students with articulation, language, social/pragmatic communication, fluency, voice, and AAC needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.

Compensation & Incentives$50–$60 Per HourGuaranteed Pay

Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities

Responsibilities Vary By Placement But May Include

• Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions
• Support students with:
• Articulation and phonological disorders
• Receptive and expressive language disorders
• Social/pragmatic communication
• Fluency disorders
• Voice disorders
• AAC and assistive communication needs
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussionsMonitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
• Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
