Job summary
Boothby Therapy Services is recruiting Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across Maine in preschool through high school settings. Positions offer guaranteed pay, sign-on bonus eligibility, and flexible placements to fit experience and location.
We provide mentorship for CF-SLPs, dedicated clinical and administrative support, and strong collaboration with OTs, PTs, and educators to ensure student success.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP or CF-SLP eligibility.
- Active Maine SLP License or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
- Deliver direct therapy services through individual and small-group sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation.

Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) throughout Maine for the 2026–2027 school year.
We partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available serving:

Rather than placing clinicians into a single opening, we take a personalized approach and match candidates with positions based on their experience, preferred age group, clinical interests, and geographic location.

Compensation & Incentives $50–$60 Per Hour Guaranteed Pay
At Boothby, you're paid for your scheduled time, even when students are absent or sessions are canceled.
Your compensation shouldn't depend on factors outside your control.
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, depending on assignment, location, and experience.

- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language disorders
- Social/pragmatic communication
- Fluency disorders

- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of diverse age groups and developmental levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support students in achieving greater communication, independence, and educational success
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP/CFY)
- Active Maine SLP License or eligibility
- School-based, pediatric, or special education experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
