Job summary

Unified Therapy Services in Wisconsin is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to primarily treat pediatric patients in our outpatient clinic. The role involves evaluating and treating patients, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Master's degree in Speech Therapy.
  • Must possess a valid Speech Language Pathology licensure.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and treats speech therapy patients under physician’s orders.
  • Completes necessary documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
  • Collaborates with other members of the rehabilitation team.
  • Trains individuals in daily living activities.
  • Encourages positive relationships among the healthcare team, patient, and family.

We address each patient’s individual needs with private treatment rooms and a large gym. We can assess and treat everyone that walks through our doors. We love giving back to our community through free community screenings, charitable donations, and participating in special community events. Unified Therapy Services is therapist owned and operated since our establishment in 2006; we are a growing company with opportunities for advancement.

Speech-Language Pathologist Job Description:
  • Evaluates and treats speech therapy patients under physician’s orders.
  • Completes necessary documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes in a timely manner.
  • Collaborates with other members of the rehabilitation team.
  • Trains individuals in skills and techniques required for participation in activities of daily living and evaluates individual’s functional progress.
  • Encourages positive relationships among the health care team, patient, and family.
  • This position will primarily provide services to pediatric patients with occasional opportunity for adult care.
