Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services in Wheaton, IL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN role. You will evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication impairments, and develop functional treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments with evidence-based techniques.
• Establish goals and develop/implement treatment plans based on a full clinical evaluation.
• Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to coordinate the plan of care.
• Deliver one-on-one treatment with individualized, functional-focused approaches.

• Treat residents one on one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional based treatment approach
