Ironside Human Resources in Watsonville, CA, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a home health, full-time, direct-hire role. Salary ranges $75.00–$90.00/hour with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree or greater in an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a California License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Must have previous clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• CCC-SLP Certification required

Responsibilities

• Assess dysphagia, trial food and liquid consistencies, recommend safe diet modification, and lead oral-motor strengthening exercises
• Treat aphasia, articulation issues, voice disorders, and verbal expression deficits
• Educate family members and aides on safe swallowing protocols, cueing techniques, and communication strategies
• Communicate regularly with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians
