Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with an active MI license (or eligibility). ASHA CCC-SLP is preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in the state of MI (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with school‑aged children is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery
• Work in a structured, school‑based setting with built‑in school holidays
