Job summary

The Richardson School is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of students with speech, language and cognition disorders, development of goals and treatment plans, and collaboration with teachers and families.

Ideal candidates will have a Master's in SLP, state licensure within one month of start, and at least one year of experience; AAC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• State certification and licensure within 1 month of starting.
• Preference for at least 1 year of experience; AAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and treatment of students with disorders in speech/language and cognition.
• Development of goals, objectives, treatment plans, and materials for the treatment of speech/language and cognitive impairments, including activities, low-technology AAC, etc.
• Data recording, in accordance with the students IEP minutes and completes progress monitoring.
• Provides Staff training on use of speech/language strategies and AAC Systems to implement in the classrooms.
• Attendance at meetings including IEPs, weekly staffing, training/education teams AAC programming, report-writing, and implementation Communication with outside school district staff, families, and vendors Participation in The RIcahrdson School's Trauma Informed and Therapuetic practices trainings.
• Serves as part of the campus Care Team

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Possesses upon hire or applies for within one (1) month of starting, state certification and licensure and maintains same, not allowing it to lapse.
• Preference for at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience in AAC instruction and evaluation preferred

SCHEDULE, WAGES & BENEFITS:

• Schedule: Full time, 8-4pm, M-F regular school year + ESY options
• Pay range: Starting from $74,000 annually; based on education + experience
