River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in the Greater Huntsville, TX area. Join our in-house therapy team working with patients across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient settings.

We recently earned a grant to start the Rhythmic Abilities Care program to improve residents' lives, with a focus on dementia care. The role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Open to SLPs at all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying services based on patient evaluation and making referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory and clinical requirements.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - FULL TIME - RIVER POINTE OF TRINITY HEALTHCARE & REHABILITATION - GREATER HUNTSVILLE, TX AREA

River Pointe of Trinity Healthcare and Rehabilitation located in the Greater Huntsville, TX area, is seeking a Full Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our awesome in-house therapy team! We are a post-acute care facility offering the amazing opportunity to practice with patients across the lifespan (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics) in a setting consisting of inpatient (short-term and long-term care) and outpatient.

We are excited to announce that we have recently been awarded a grant to start our Rhythmic Abilities Care program, a quality improvement initiative focused on enhancing the lives of our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans following regulatory and clinical standards.
