Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide SLP services to patients across care communities. You will screen, evaluate, and treat speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders in compliance with Reliant standards.

You will contribute to a robust SLP program, collaborate with a clinical team, and maintain licensure while delivering high-quality care. Opportunities for growth and ongoing education are offered across 44 states.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-language Pathology required or equivalent
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-language Pathologist
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Experience in clinical settings and compliance with regulations

Responsibilities

• Deliver Speech-language Pathology services following clinical standards
• Develop and sustain an effective SLP program within the facility
• Collaborate with clinical staff for patient assessment and treatment planning
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain professional licensure and participate in continuing education
• Provide patient and staff education on therapy goals and outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Delivering Speech-language Pathology (SLP) services to patients in accordance with the principles of speech-language therapy and Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Foster positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, development and implementation of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case management. Uphold professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through direct provision and oversight of speech therapy
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program
• Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education
• Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment
• Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards
• Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation
• Maintaining confidentiality as appropriate and ensuring compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
