Job summary

St. Joseph's Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and provide individualized therapy for children and adults across outpatient, Early Intervention, and residential programs.

You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and educate families and staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve communication, swallowing, and quality of life. Applicants should have a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC or ASHA eligibility, plus a PA driver’s

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CCC or eligibility through ASHA.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not required.

  • Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, educators, nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and support to families, caregivers, and staff.
  • Supervise students or support personnel as assigned.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities.

Join the Therapy Department at St. Joseph's Center as a Speech-Language Pathologist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adults with diverse communication needs. The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, develops, and provides individualized speech and language therapy services for children and adults across multiple St. Joseph's Center programs, including outpatient services, Early Intervention, and residential care. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, the Speech-Language Pathologist develops treatment plans, monitors progress, provides education to families and staff, and helps individuals improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

What’s Required Of You
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility through ASHA.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not required.

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the day, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and travel between St. Joseph's Center locations as needed.
